Construction/General Industry Safety & Health Program (OSHA 10 Hours)
Introduction
The OSHA 10-Hour Training Program is designed to familiarize workers with OSHA standards
and common workplace safety and health hazards.
This fully narrated and interactive training aims to educate participants on how to identify,
avoid, control, and prevent jobsite hazards across both Construction and General Industry
environments.
Who Should Attend
- Construction workers, site laborers, and supervisors on new projects, demolitions, or major renovations
- General industry employees including warehouse, manufacturing, and maintenance staff
- Foremen, inspectors, and job supervisors seeking a better understanding of workplace safety and OSHA requirements
- Demonstrate the use and inspection of DCP, CO₂, water extinguishers, and hydrants (per 29 CFR 1910.157).
- Lead fire evacuation and emergency drills.
- Deliver short fire safety training sessions using adult learning principles.
- Maintain accurate training records and describe compliance requirements for documentation and retention.
The program helps participants predict, prevent, identify, and eliminate common hazards in
their work environment—enhancing overall site safety and regulatory compliance.
